Your diagrams and settings
The editor stores diagrams, project names, and preferences in your browser's local storage on the device you use. Opening a project file reads it in your browser. Saving or exporting a diagram downloads a file to your device. The current app does not send diagram contents to its operator or provide an account or cloud backup.
Browser storage is separate for each browser profile and website address. You can remove a diagram in the editor or clear this site's browser data. Clearing site data, changing devices, or moving between the hosted address and a custom domain may make autosaved projects unavailable. Download an editable project file if you want a separate copy.
Visits and hosting
OpenAI hosts this website through ChatGPT Sites. Sites automatically records aggregate unique-visitor and page-view counts. OpenAI and its hosting providers may process technical request and operational data to deliver, secure, and maintain the site. The app does not currently include an additional analytics or advertising service.
Sharing and location
Project files and diagrams stay in your browser unless you choose to share an exported file yourself. This site links to external resources; opening one takes you to that provider's website. ChatGPT Sites does not currently offer a data-residency guarantee for hosted code, logs, or operational data.
Your choices
You can use the editor without creating an account. You can delete local projects in the editor, clear this site's browser storage, or stop using the site. Privacy laws in your location may provide other rights concerning personal data processed for website hosting. This notice will be updated if the app begins collecting new kinds of data or adds online accounts or cloud storage.
